Advocacy
Advocacy, lobbying, campaigning and activism
In December 2008, the Society's Council approved a position on advocacy, lobbying, campaigning and activism, which applies to all staff, Trustees, volunteers, committee members, Fellows and members who are acting on behalf of the Society and/or any of our branches, research groups or other collective group within the Society.
The policy was reviewed in 2020 and found to still be relevant and applicable.
